Such rude staff, have no patience for people with few questions. When I was trying to confirm more details, the staff kept interrupting me even said,” are you not listening?” Although the assistant in the appointment call was good and the lady at front desk (IRS 7th Floor) was very nice & helpful. But the taxpayers assistant center officer there was so rude.

I am shocked at the service i received at this office. I made my appointment in advance and got there on time. I arrived at 9:14, got my number and took my seat. I got my transcripts and was out of there by 9:27. The front desk lady was friendly and the guy that handled my request was gruff but got the job done. A couple of things to note: This is not a walk in center, you need an appointment. There is an 800 number to call at which there is a kind of lengthy wait time (15 minutes when i called) Dont take any weapons because there is a metal detector at the entrance. Most federal employees are beleaguered and i have found that you will catch more flies with honey. Just be nice and they will be nice. I fully expected to be there a long time and have to deal with a huge crowd or snotty employees. Not so. Good job to those who work at this IRS office.

Airport TSA level of power tripping. One low level security guard questioned whether or not I was able to bring in a motorcycle helmet as it is a weapon?! I said I’ve been to this office before and the employee I’m meeting with has seen the helmet and never raised an issue. The second low level security guard didn’t like that I questioned his “authority” and tried to deny my entry with the helmet. They then called their manager who said the helmet is fine, other people bring in helmets so I was allowed entry. The two low level guards seemed very displeased with this result.

Very unprofessional and unethical stuff.The security person was trying to push me off, insists that I do not see any one, and no one can help, trying to hold off on my driving license, was very rude and nasty. Finally told that I can have a sit, but it will takes long time to wait.And if I will give hard time to some one else she will kick me out! When I was waiting one of the irs officer was talking for at least 20 minutes with family member and laughing on the phone. I got impression that most of these employee has no degree. Really good experience. Had an appointment at 9:15 and I was out of the building at 9:40. The security line could be long if you reach late. Try to make an early morning appointment and reach there 30-45 mins before the appointment.

That was few years ago in this place , I need my tax transcript ,the one old lady worker can not found My tax recording，i need reason why no record no transcript, because I already pay tax few months ago, And she very rude for me,she yelled at me, I very scared and sad, finally My accountant refilled my taxes , and One month later I got the extra tax refund because I paid twice ，Obviously this is not my problem, so why is she so vicious ，I don’t want to say that this is racial discrimination, but obviously she is not worthy to work in this position
