I arrived at their location on Leeds Ave. (with some trepedation) expecting the worse. I was pleasantly surprised when, after less than ten minutes of waiting, I was in a cubicle with Ms. Sue Sullivan. She was totally professional, jovial, and very friendly. She looked into my case and admitted that the letter claiming that I owed $350 was in error. After a few minutes of calculations she told me that, in fact, I was owed two dollars and some change. WOW! What a great experience! We exchanged a few laughs and I left in a far better mood than that which I arrived. I also have to add the Jeff, the guard at the entrance was super friendly, good-humored, and professional as well. All in all...a great experience. I returned to this office in November of 2021 regarding a letter I received regarding my tax situation. Made an appointment and spoke with a nice lady by the name of Mrs. Ashley. She was thorough, courteous, and professional. She fixed the problem to my satisfaction in less than 50 minutes. Kudos to the nice lady!

My local office the federal office no one will answer their phone the website yeah like that's working properly I'm on SSII have not gotten my stimulus do not file taxes it is started as as I in twenny twenny I didn't get told to the 15th that I may have to file a non filers on their website however when you press the button to do so the pages dead if you press the Spanish Option a page works I don't read Spanish Family I get switch to English go and try to fill it out every time I sign in it tells me my brand new account is incorrect and if I sign and 10 dimes in a row they will lock it down for 24 hours there's no one to talk to can't reach a human being anywhere getting very angry

They were quick, helpful, and more friendly than they needed to be. IRS.gov was not helping, their mail service was too slow, and the phone line only served to reroute me from one mismatched automated menu to another. I did not expect things to go well. Within a few minutes of explaining my problem in person, I was receiving the documents I needed and having my address updated. Absolutely ridiculous that you have to make an appointment to meet with someone to try and get assistance or try and resolve any issues.. and this is after being on HOLD for 2 HOURS and 32 MINUTES on Tuesday (12/4) of which I was told I would need to get the info in person or that it would be a few weeks in the mail..?? What is BEYOND maddening is when you then try to CALL to make an appointment it tells you "due to high call volume we're unable to assist you at this time, please call back to schedule an appointment at another time." The information I need from them is time sensitive and apparently no one can help me. How can this be that the IRS doesn't want to assist me with submitting a form so they can receive payment in full?!?! Talk about the inefficiency of government.. UPDATE: I've continued to call back to try and schedule an appointment and have at least now not been hung up on..."Estimated hold times are currently 15-30 minutes".. to schedule an appointment??!!
