Negative 4 Stars is my rating. Just was calling to see what I needed sent to them. Couldnt even find out what i needed sent. Tried calling a few times more just to be sent to the voicemail of very busy call times try again later. Also one of their staff members finally answered my question but their over the phone Identity Process is not really helpful when your not getting access to your profile bc of missing few personal question. Also the answer to some of those personal question can change over time. So this is what tax payers pay for.. Cherrios! for the huge delay

Its a shame of how they treat people at this office. The young lady at the front was so Nasty until it was ridiculous. She kept cutting people off when they trying to explain to her what the issue was. I have never seen so much poor customers service. Instead of giving out number to allow people to be seated, she made ever one stand up until she got ready to assist them. She even yelled out the front desk reception desk, for everyone to keep it down. I have never seen anything like this in my life. Customers deserve more respect than that. I know that people can be mean and cruel but when your dealing with the public you got to be able to handle people. She is in the wrong position and someone from Atlanta need to come down and do an secret visit.

The lady (actually I wouldn't call her a lady) behind the counter was rude and had no personality. I was basically shunned for not having an appointment to print ONE piece of paper, when just last year, I walked in with NO problem and NO appointment.

I wish I could give this young lady a negative star and agree with every review under me! I walk in and I'm the only one there, I speak to the security gourd and then turn and speak to her. She asked how she could help me and I told her I needed to be verified. So she just cuts me off before I could even finish which is fine because yes we are all in a hurry and u have to get work done. But part of your job is to assist me. "You need to *photo ids* . So I pull out my passport** & drivers license. This woman said u need a s.s. card or birth certificate. ... yes there is a paper on the glass that says that but the paper makes it seem as if you need exactly what she stated. Two* photo ids. And a birth c or ss. So I said I'll be right back and went to my car for it . When I returned there was and older gentleman in there trying to get help and of course she had an attitude.. before he left he said have a blessed day. Well with that kind of attitude she needs it. She made me stand and wait... and we proceeded with the attitude as she was trying to ***help**** me.

After reading the responses of others I can clearly see, I'm just another in the number. Went into the office around 11:40 and was told by the security guard that no-one else was being seen until after lunch which was around 1:30. I told him it wasn't lunchtime yet and could they make an exception to one more person because the matter was urgent. There were two other people waiting and one complaining that she was there from out of town and needed to get back as her place of employment was being audited. I further asked to speak to a supervisor and the security guard told me there wasn't one available and to take notice of the sign posted claiming they weren't taking anymore people until after lunch. As disgruntled as I was I argued the fact that how could they stop serving the public when the lunch hour had not started, I was further upset when I called the number to find out that their lunch hours don't start till 12:30 and last till 1:30. I asked him for his name and due to taking pictures of the posted sign was asked to leave.

I waited outside building for 30 minutes just to get inside. Once inside waited another 15 minutes and was told that if you did already have a ticket to come back the following week. They only waited on 6 people prior to me arriving after lunch. Most of the people that were in line with me had already been there before lunch and was told to come back after lunch and they would be seen . Unfort unately they were rejected with everyone else. The lady in the office is rude and nasty. She didn't even any of her comments to the people in office with any professionalism.

It really doesn't get worse than this. Came at around 820 in the morning, they open at 830. There was already 10 people in line. Stood in line until 920 when someone finally told us that the ONE lady who works here called out sick today and that they wouldn't be open until tomorrow. Apparently this is a common issue here, and they frequently only help the first 5 to 10 guests in the morning and then tell the rest of the people in line )usually between 10 to 20) to come back when they get off of lunch at 1:30. These people are usually not helped and have to come back on multiple days. I don't know who but somebody needs to be fired.

The IRS help desk here is by appointment only. The guard was nice the IRS agent was rushed didn't care about my baby crying and was very unpleasant to deal with. I brought in proof that my children SSN was valid from the date of birth her comment was to the IRS it is valid from the date of issued. I responded so my new SS Card is only valid for tax years after 2017. She had no comment but would submit my paperwork for review and I will get an message in the mail in about 90 days. Almost forgot I was to to arrive early and she saw me late. Gave me a number then call me back to her desk where she ask for my number. This makes this tax payer so happy.

This lady is super nasty. She arrives late. Goes to lunch and never really helps anyone. Super nasty. Why is there only one person working in this office. No one gets their issues resolved. She does not give receipts if you pay in person. When this office was downtown there were about six people working in the office. She needs to be fired. No stars. She deserves --- 500 Billion

Only 2 people at work. One only looks after transcripts, payments and minor issues while the lady in charge of everything else will only see 8 people at a time, takes a 2 hour break and doesnt notify all the people waiting when they arent servicing anyone else only after she gets in from her overdue break. If you need to get work done, best option is to show up at 6:30 earliest and wait it out, otherwise come back the next day. Cheers!

Employees at this IRS office will not provide service. I walked in at 4:15 p.m., fifteen minutes before closing. I was told they were closed, even though three employees were there: a security guard, a male clerk and a female in the back. She's the one who said they were closed. I tried to reason with them. The guards said: "If you want service you'll have to come back tomorrow."
