Very rude lady that works there. The look on her face even was that of "hurry up and get out of my face". Customer service lessons would be valuable. The hour wait on the phone to get to an agent was more pleasant and more worth it than visiting the office. Try to avoid going here. You may have to try 5 times or more on the phone, but the IRS is making an effort to take care of more issues over the phone according to the telephone agent I spoke to.

Went to this office to get answers about a tax issue because the phone takes a long time most of the times. The lady in cubicle 4, working on April 2 around 1100, greeted me with little motivation and, after learning the reason for my visit, told me "you just don't come here asking about those type of questions, you need to call the phone number". A little humility and desire to help those who pay for your salary should not be too much to ask.

The lady that helped me was actually very nice HOWEVER.... I was really taking back the way she literally yelled at people who's waiting in the lobby when they didn't respond immediately after she called their name or asked questions. People are already upset and even scared in some cases when visiting the IRS the last thing they need is someone being rude to them. As a law enforcement officer my biggest concern is you never know what kind of day that person has had prior to walking into that office and it may be just that one little unkind word that trigger a very negative reaction. That's why it's always wise to be kind and professional to people even when you are in a position of authority, it wouldn't hurt for them to receive some sort of training on how to better interact with customers. After all they're only there to receive help, not to be treated and spoken to like inmates, is the best way to describe it.

If I could give this place 0 stars i would it's a clean and nice building but when the security guards are more professional and nice than the workers then theres a serious issue. We went in to find out why our taxes are taking so long to process. We went in to talk to the lady no hello no how are you no smile didnt even tell us her name, we explained the situation and all she had to say was well I dont know where they are, she explained that someone from some company may have taken them, we proceeded to ask when we should get any notice from anything letting us know what happened and she said "how should I know what do you want me to do about it" gave us some number that we told her we had already called and rolled her eyes and walked away WHILE we were still sitting at her desk talking to her. If you arent going to even attempt to help your customers in a CUSTOMER SERVICE job dont work there. If you cant do anything for me fine but she didnt even try. Yall really need to re evaluate who you have working for you because your workings are giving all of you a bad name. And on top of her customer service or lack of that is she was in a tank top and leggings, I'm not expecting you to be in suits but at least look like you tried to look good for your job instead of looking like you just got out of bed.

The lady who "helped us" did not help. Didn't listen to what we had to say, printed us a paper that wasn't what we needed. She was very rude and dismissive. It was 5 minutes until 4 p.m, told us she had to close and that we had to physically leave the booth. She could have definitely used a more professional tone.

Absolutely the worst experience in my life!!! The woman that worked there was hateful, disrespectful and talked down to everyone. The office opened at 08:30 and she refused to allow anyone else in the office after 09:00. I asked her a simple question and she laughed and said "I don't have time for this!" then walked away. The posted office hours are 0:830-4:30 but she said the office was closing at 12:30. We came back another day and got there early enough to get in but then she said we didn't have the W2. The form we had was the correct form and said W2 but she didn't want to hear it and made us leave. She needs to be fired!

Wasting time, paper, and government dollars. In the amount of time it took her to ask me what I needed and provide me with the information to do it myself, even though I told her I was unable to it myself via the website, she could have provided me with what I needed in the same amount of paper she used to show me how to do it. Make an appointment before you go, don't waste your time. She is very strict and comes off rude. Her job is to not make your day easier, unfortunately.

A lot of us college students need our parents transcripts or our own transcripts to start for fall semester . We can’t get to anyone , and doing it online doesn’t work for everyone , everyone doesn’t have a credit card or loan to verify . I will give 2 stars but basically they cannot help you, only print out some paper. I thought I was asking simple questions but the lady referred me to my tax preparer. I was like what? What are they there for? Don't ask them any questions because they are clueless. Someone said they take about a 15 minute break after every person that comes to see them, I find that to be a little true. I waited 2 hours to get a transcript and almost left with nothing because they have several different transcripts and I didn't know which one I needed....crazy. And why is there only 2 people working there, oh and the security guard where you almost have to strip search to see someone who probably can't help you.

There are no words to describe the helplessness we felt trying to talk to Ms Parker at this location. The first thing she said to us was "what do you want". We actually felt like we were in the "twilight zone". I was there with a client of mine to get help to resolve his problem that was initiated by IRS. I sat down in the lst chair and he sat down in the 2nd. She said the taxpayer had to sit in the chair I was in. The office is tiny. Then she said the taxpayer had to talk even though I had power of attorney to represent him. Everything we inquired about she said "you have to do that yourself". Unbelievable. I felt it was because we were white but maybe not. We left with the same unresolved problem. Found out her supervisor's office is in Wilmington. She needs a supervisor in her face every minute she's there. She needs to be fired. I think I left there with PTSD (no joke). Where to you report someone like that?

This place is so unprofessional. My mom and I came up here last Thursday without knowing you had to make an appointment so we called the number and made an appointment the lady told my mom her appointment was anywhere between the hours of 12pm-3:45pm. We are here now and apparently the lady was NOT supposed to do that and the worker is calling over my mom's name because apparently "appointments are never done like that" the worker is very rude and is the ONLY worker here. This place is a joke, the staff is horrible. We are on the phone now because we never received a confirmation number either, all my Mom needs is 1 freaking paper printed because the online tax transcript wouldn't work for her.
